About the Department The Department of Islamic Financial and Banking Sciences is one of two departments in the College of Islamic Sciences at the Islamic University of Najaf Al-Ashraf. The department accepts students who are graduates of the scientific branch of preparatory school, as well as graduates of technical institutes and industrial preparatory schools. Graduates are awarded a Bachelor of Engineering degree after four years of study.

It is one of the newly established departments for the academic year 2024-2025, founded pursuant to a letter from the Department of Private University Education at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, based on the urgent need of Iraq's healthcare sector for this precise specialization. The department specializes in preparing engineers skilled in medical device technologies, equipping them with the skills to diagnose, repair, maintain, and develop modern medical devices through the application of engineering principles and technologies in the medical field.
About the Department The Department of Civil & Construction Engineering Technologies is one of the departments of the College of Technical Engineering at the Islamic University of Najaf Al-Ashraf. Established in 2016, the department was founded in response to the pressing need to supply the country with technically specialized cadres in civil and construction engineering, particularly given the significant urban development in Najaf Governorate — an important religious tourism center visited by millions — requiring qualified cadres capable of designing and executing its tourist, industrial, religious, and administrative facilities. The department grants a Bachelor of Engineering degree after four years of study, and its graduates are qualified to design and execute construction projects, with familiarity in modern engineering and management methods in the field of construction.
