Postgraduate studies The Islamic University of Najaf al-Ashraf is concerned with the affairs of postgraduate students at our university and their follow-up, starting from their application with international universities and under joint supervision, and acceptance until the end of their studies and graduation. The Department of the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs directly supervises the provision of academic seats for students in the master’s and Doctorate programs within the framework of a scientific agreement signed between the Islamic University and international universities. The Islamic University of Najaf Al-Ashraf aims to improve graduate studies programs in university formations outside Iraq in accordance with the standards of excellence and the controls and instructions of graduate studies, in a way that is reflected in the level of the student so that he has the required scientific competence and is able to bear the responsibility that results from obtaining the graduate degree. Partner universities The Islamic University has scientific agreements with a number of international universities for postgraduate programmes, the most prominent of which are: - Ferdowsi University of Mashhad (Iran) - Amirkabir University (Iran) - Other universities under signed scientific agreements. Admission requirements Applicants for graduate programs are required to obtain a bachelor’s degree with a grade of good or higher, pass specific admission tests, and submit a research proposal with clear objectives and methodology.
