Our university comprises elite faculties offering distinguished academic programs
Establishment of the college The Faculty of Dentistry/Islamic University was established in 2018 AD by administrative order issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research No. T/Aq/16579 on 10/3/2018. The college contains two main departments: Department of Basic Sciences: It includes the first, second, and third stages of the Faculty of Dentistry. Clinical Sciences Department: includes the fourth and fifth stages.
Establishment of the college The Faculty of Pharmacy at the Islamic University of Najaf Al-Ashraf was established on October 9, 2018, pursuant to Ministerial Order No. 17209 of October 9, 2018, due to the urgent need to prepare pharmacists who have the scientific and technical competence to carry out pharmaceutical services and chemical analyzes in Iraq. The college was officially named the Faculty of Pharmacy.
About the college The Faculty of Medical Technologies at the Islamic University of Najaf was established in 2018 under Ministerial Order No. (T.H.A./K6277) on 4/1/2018, which includes the Department of Pathological Analysis Techniques, which was established in 2016 under Ministerial Order No. (T.H.A./3138) on 8/31/2016. This is in response to the labor market’s need for a staff specialized in pathological analysis techniques armed with knowledge and faith. The department was created and equipped with the latest buildings and equipment, including classrooms and laboratories, while providing modern means of clarification to help the teaching staff and students reach an optimal formula in education. The college currently includes five specialized scientific departments: pathological analysis techniques, radiology and ultrasound techniques, anesthesia techniques, artificial kidney techniques, and cosmetic and laser techniques.
About the college The Faculty of Technical Engineering at the Islamic University of Najaf Al-Ashraf was established in 2018 under Ministerial Letter No. (T/K 6277) dated 4/1/2018, and was formed from the original three departments: the Department of Computer Technologies Engineering, the Department of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technologies Engineering, and the Department of Building and Construction Technologies Engineering. The college has expanded to include six specialized technical engineering departments, and seeks to provide distinguished applied engineering education that prepares qualified engineering cadres to meet the needs of the local and regional labor market. The college is characterized by a stimulating educational environment, effective partnerships with the industrial and service sectors, and academic programs in line with international academic standards.
About the college The Faculty of Islamic Sciences was established at the Islamic University of Najaf Al-Ashraf - Iraq in 2018 AD, as it obtained approval from the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in its book numbered C T H A / K 6277 dated (1/4/2018 AD). The college includes two academic departments: the Department of Qur’anic and Linguistic Studies, and the Department of Islamic Banking and Financial Sciences. The college seeks to prepare academic cadres specialized in Islamic sciences, Qur’anic sciences, the Arabic language, and Islamic financial and banking sciences, capable of serving society and disseminating the values of science and knowledge.
About the College The College of Law and Political Science is one of the colleges of the Islamic University in Najaf Al-Ashraf, established in 2018 following the ministerial order converting the Islamic University College into a university. The college comprises the Department of Law, whose establishment was concurrent with the founding of the Islamic University College in 2004. The college seeks to prepare specialized legal cadres equipped with legal culture and the values of justice and equality, capable of serving the judiciary, government institutions, and civil society organizations.
About the College The Faculty of Media was established in 2018/2019 following the elevation of the Islamic College to the Islamic University in Najaf Al-Ashraf in the same year. The faculty comprises the Department of Journalism, which aims to prepare specialized, academically and professionally qualified media cadres capable of working in the fields of journalism and media with full professionalism and integrity.
About the College The College of Education at the Islamic University in Najaf Al-Ashraf was established by Ministerial Order No. (J H / 4212) on 16/9/2013, to spread knowledge, enrich the daily life of the individual, stimulate motivation to use scientific thinking, and realize the effectiveness of sciences and knowledge and their role in societal development to create an appropriate environment for science and knowledge. The college comprises three specialized academic departments: the Department of English Language Education, the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, and the Department of Islamic Education. The college aims to prepare qualified educational cadres capable of advancing the educational process in Iraq.
