Department Founding

The Department of Computer Technologies Engineering was founded at the College of Technical Engineering / Islamic University in 2006-2007, making it one of the oldest scientific departments in the Islamic University. The department welcomed its first cohort in 2006-2007 and began graduating students in 2010, producing a wide spectrum of distinguished graduates across all scientific, administrative, technical, and practical fields.

The Islamic University is one of the private higher education universities accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The department follows applicable regulations and complies with the Ministry's directives, keeping pace with scientific and technological developments in computer engineering, particularly in informatics and communications.

The department adopts an annual educational system with a four-year study duration. Graduates are awarded a Bachelor of Engineering degree.
