slamic University, Najaf In line with efforts to promote civic values and reinforce national identity, the Department of Beauty and Laser Technologies at the College of Medical Technologies held an awareness seminar titled “Reducing the Phenomenon of Illegal Migration and Promoting the Spirit of National Belonging.” The session was presented by Assistant Lecturer Mustafa Mahdi Jalil, in the presence of the Assistant Dean, Dr. Rahman Zbeiba, as well as several faculty members and students. The seminar addressed the main causes and motivations behind illegal migration, as well as the legal, social, and humanitarian risks associated with it. It also highlighted the importance of raising young people’s awareness of their roles and responsibilities towards their country. The seminar concluded by emphasizing the importance of strengthening national belonging among youth and increasing their awareness of the risks of illegal migration, in a way that enhances their role in building society and serving the nation.
