A distinguished scientific step… Radiology and Ultrasound students discuss a project that reduces radiation and improves radiographic image quality.
Islamic University, Najaf The College of Medical Technologies – Department of Radiology and Ultrasound witnessed the presentation of a distinguished graduation project by fourth-year students titled: “The Use of Gaming Sensor Technologies in Improving Radiographic Image Quality and Minimizing Repeated Radiation Exposure” Using gaming sensor technologies to enhance radiographic image quality and reduce repeated exposure to radiation. The presentation was held under the supervision and follow-up of a discussion committee chaired by the Assistant Dean of the College, Dr. Rahman Zubaiba, and supervised by Assistant Lecturer Ali Hussein Ismail Al-Bawi. This project is considered one of the modern initiatives that integrates engineering technologies with medical imaging applications in the field of radiology, aiming to provide innovative solutions to challenges related to image quality and radiation dose reduction. At the conclusion of the discussion, the committee praised the importance of such research projects that combine scientific and practical aspects, contributing to the development of radiographic imaging techniques and improving the quality of healthcare services. They wished the students continued success and progress in their academic and professional careers.
