
In Recognition of Its Humanitarian Support… Jamkaran Mosque Delegation Honours the Islamic University
Islamic University, Najaf The President of the Islamic University, Professor Dr Ammar Al-Salami, received a delegation from the General Secretariat of Jamkaran Mosque in the Islamic Republic of Iran, headed by the Mosque’s Secretary-General, Mr. Ali Akbar Najad, during a visit aimed at expressing thanks and appreciation to the university for its humanitarian and relief efforts in support of the Iranian people during the exceptional circumstances that followed the aggression. The delegation praised the humanitarian role undertaken by the Islamic University through the initiatives and assistance it provided, as well as its active participation in establishing service processions in a number of Iranian cities, which embodied the spirit of solidarity and mutual support between the two peoples. At the conclusion of the visit, the delegation of the General Secretariat of Jamkaran Mosque expressed its deep gratitude for these noble positions, affirming that the contributions made by the Islamic University will remain a source of appreciation and pride among the Iranian people and its religious and cultural institutions.
